About us

Bike hike Tours is a US based tour operator set up in New York City in May 2017. It is a bridge for a European-based outdoor sports company, LABEL, located in Slovenia. LABEL is successfully operating since 2004 and has built strong and reliable network of partners in the meantime. LABEL is a local provider for holidays in Slovenia, Italy, Croatia, Austria, French Alps, and British Columbia.

With a clear vision and enthusiastic team that brought us success in Europe, we wanted to go even further. We decided to open a new US-based company to be able to reach the American market as well. Bike Hike Tour’s mission is to deliver a complete holiday experience from the moment we speak with potential clients. We aim to provide professional organisation, high-quality services, and boutique accommodation in chosen destinations all over the world. About the opportunity

Bike Hike Tours Inc. is now looking for new self-motivated, organised and dedicated professionals to join our fast paced organisation as travel agents. Your work as a travel agent will include 3 main fields of work: sales, customer service and travel management.

All in all, you will be arranging travel for business and vacation customers. Your first objective will be selling our services and actual packages to clients. You will also be determining clients needs, planning and booking their holidays, handling day-to day changes and at the same time building strong relationships by delivering exceptional customer service.

Successful applicants profile

To be a successful BHT travel agent you must have strong sales drive and ability to multi-task in a fast pace environment with an eye for detail. It also helps, if you show a great interest in sports travel industry and feel happy to work with people to ensure their needs are met. Besides that, being a sport enthusiast is an extra plus for us, as it means you value the same ideas and lifestyle we do. And common interests are the base for a successful business.

REQUIRED SKILLS FOR A BHT TRAVEL AGENT:

  • experience and history in travel business field is a big advantage
  • good written and oral communication skills in English (another language is a plus)
  • strong sales skills
  • excellent data entry and typing skills
  • strong organisational and interpersonal skills
  • ability to handle stressful situations appropriately
  • professional & service-oriented mentality
  • positive attitude and a will to succeed
  • ability to work independently as well as part of a team
