Day 2 – Denver local trails

Welcome to Denver! Not only is this a capital within striking distance of great trails all over the state, but there are also numerous fun MTB trails close to the city itself! Mountain biking near Denver offers a ton of great cross country and all mountain riding. We will explore the foothills west of Denver and ride high into the Rocky Mountains. Sleepover in the same hotel in Denver.

Day 3 – Trails around Snowmass/Aspen

After our 2nd breakfast in Denver, we will collect all our things from the hotel, as our next home for the night will be in Aspen. Therefore, we will first drive to our next biking destination for the day, Snowmass. The drive will take us around 2,5h. Once on spot, we will hit the flow trails in and around the world-famous mountain resort. We will be riding pristine singletracks through breathtaking Aspen forests. After your legs will be done for the day, we will return to our hotel to relax. Sleepover in a small hotel in Aspen.

Day 4 – Aspen / Snowmass bike park

On our 3rd day, we will get truly funky in the Snowmass Bike Park! This park has everything needed to master the beginner and the intermediate downhill mountain bike trails! More than 50 miles of lift- and gondola-served mountain biking trails await you here! Late evening return to our small hotel for the night in Snowmass.

Day 5 – Colorado Grande Traverse

A big day ahead! We will first get a truly nutritious breakfast, that will prepare us for a great journey from Aspen to Crested Butte, where we will stay for the night. In total, we will ride 40 miles over the Elk Mountains with over 7,800′ of elevation gain. A well-deserved dinner at our hotel in Crested Butte will be ready for us!

Day 6 – Crested Butte classic trails

Today is the day you will experience yet another face of MTB in Colorado! The classics 401 + 403. This day is the very definition of alpine mountain biking in Colorado! We will be sampling some of the best singletracks available anywhere in the world. In the evening, we will get back in the van and drive for another 2h to arrive to Fruita, where we will stay for the night.

Day 7 – Fruita Colorado desert trail

Fruita is now considered by many to be one of the premier MTB destinations in Colorado! It offers perfect combinations of terrain to challenge riders of all skill levels and abilities. Also, the shorter drive times and a wide variety of trail options makes it a great family spot. We will enjoy the day riding in this awesome desert and finally, in the evening, return to our small hotel for the night.

Day 8 – Departure day

Today is the day we will have to say our goodbyes and exchange some e-mails, to arrange and meet again next year! We are sure, you will want to return to this amazing place after such an unforgettable week! If your flight is not until late afternoon or evening, you will be able to enjoy and discover Denver by yourself. This time, on foot!;)
