Peru is the third largest country in South America, after Brazil and Argentina. It is made up of a variety of landscapes, from mountains and beaches to deserts and rain forests. The second highest mountain range in the world runs through Peru. These peaks, called the Andes, have unique landscapes and here is where the fun really starts! Are you ready to ride with the Incas and join us on MTB holidays in Peru?
Peru: Land of the Incas.
We are pretty sure that if something is known about that country, it is the Inca Civilization and their heritage: Macchu Picchu is the first thing that comes to mind when most people think about Peru. But Incas left us not only the amazing monuments, but there is an even bigger heritage. We are fortunate that Inca’s built an immense network of trails used to connect the territories of their empire. And those trails are the best for mountain biking! Rides are mostly long descents, with some challenging climbs at altitude, some technical singletracks, and fast singletracks. Riding in Peru is off the charts and we promise these MTB holidays in Peru will long stay in your memory!

I am coming to Peru, what should I bring?
Our MTB holidays in Peru include riding in the areas where there are none or very little bike shops. So, the first thing we suggest you is to make a deep clean and detailed maintenance of your bike and check for the worn parts. Make sure everything is working properly, especially your brakes! It might also be a good idea to bring spare tires. We suggest 2.30/2.35 width and extra protection on the sides. The tubeless system is also suggested. If you are using tubeless, check it has liquid inside and it is not dry. We do carry some spare bike parts on our tours but there are some parts that are specific to each bike.
So, we suggest you bring the following parts with you:
• extra derailleur hanger
• 2 sets of brake pads
• 2 tubes, patches, and a pump (We suggest putting the tubeless system.)
• some special tools for your bike and a bike multi-tool
• backpack with water container – You will need to take your food, tools, water, and jacket on tours.
• rain jacket: waterproof, for cold mountain weather
• light thermal jacket (This will keep you warm if the temperature drops considerably.)
• helmet, gloves and safety glasses (Full face helmet ,.)
• knee pads (Elbow pads are optional.)
