The Slovenia ski break combines the charms of the Slovenian capital Ljubljana with amazing skiing on various Slovenian ski resorts! During this 4-day long weekend trip, you will experience the Slovenian capital and ski on resorts: Krvavec, Kanin / ITA Sella Nevea, ITA Tarvisio, Cerkno or Kranjska gora.
Within an hour of stepping off the plane, you’ll be on your first slope of the trip. With over 100km of pistes, these resorts are perfect for beginner to advanced skiers. There is a mixture of green, blue, red and black runs. The itinerary is designed to make the absolute most of the weekend, so a 4-day ski pass is no surprise. Every afternoon you will also have time to discover the lovely capital Ljubljana!
During this weekend break, you will be staying in the Slovenian capital, Ljubljana, in a 3* hotel b&b based on twin/double room. Upgrades to a 4* hotel available on request for a supplement to the basic price.
Along with our accommodation based in the heart of Slovenia, Ljubljana the capital gives our clients an excellent starting point for daily ski trips. Due to short distances, this is no problem in Slovenia and we promise you won’t be stuck in shuttle transports for long. Also, Ljubljana is the perfect destination for a relaxing city break with an abundance of culture, interesting sights, and nightlife. It is classified as a mid-sized European city, but it has preserved its small-town friendliness and relaxed atmosphere. Also well placed for fine dining and has many superb restaurants at affordable prices compared to France or Italy.

Thursday– Arrival to Ljubljana Airport in the morning and skiing on Krvavec ski resort
You will be met at Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport (LJU) where you will be transported to Krvavec ski resort. Your transfer will meet all flights scheduled to land at 10:25 or earlier. The Krvavec ski area is the second-largest ski resort in Slovenia with 30km of ski slopes. It is only a 20-minute drive from Ljubljana airport and 7 more minutes as you take the gondola to the top.
Note: optional earlier arrival on Wednesday and possible reservation of another night.
Friday – Kanin ski resort
It’s an early start to get to the ski resort, as your transfer will pick you up at 8:00. Kanin-Sella Nevea is a joint Slovenian-Italian ski resort located on the slopes of Mt Kanin and Sella Nevea Pass at the Slovenian-Italian border. Through the chairlift, at Sedlo mountain the two ski resorts Sella Nevea and Bovec Kanin are connected and come up with 30 km of slopes with different levels. It is the only Slovenian ski resort at 2,000 m (6,600 ft) above sea level. You will depart from the resort at 16:00 which would give you plenty of slope time. You will have a free evening in Ljubljana to check out the sights, restaurants or bars.
Saturday - Cerkno ski resort
The Cerkno ski resort is situated boundary of the Gorenjska and Primorje regions. The winter sports area is between 935m and 1,287m in altitude, with 18km of pistes, making it one of the smaller ski resorts. However, Cerkno has the most modern and safest skiing facilities in Slovenia, with a mixture of blue, red and black runs, making it the perfect resort for all levels of skier.
Sunday - Kranjska Gora Slovenian World Cup slalom and GS resort & departure
Your transfer will pick you up from the hotel at 08:30 and take you to your fourth ski resort in four days; Kranjska Gora. This is a beautiful, small resort with the spectacular surroundings of the Julian Alps. This resort sits just a few kilometers from both the Austrian and Italian borders and it has some infamous après ski in the village. It has a total of 30km of ski slopes, 40km of tracks for cross-country skiing and even a snow park for freestylers. With 19 runs from green to black, you can make the most of your day on the snow or kick back in the bars. At 16:00, you’ll be taken back to the airport in time for your evening flight home.
