NYC Summer Sports Day Camp: An engaging and enriching outdoor day camp for your little ones!
Our well-rounded Summer Day Camp is filled with outdoor time, games, sports, socializing, and visual or performing arts. Focusing on the outdoors, your little ones will experience the vast playground that nature (even in the city) offers through numerous sports and play activities for the curious and active kids! Outdoor fun includes activities like swim and surf instructions, bike-riding lessons, roping, educational play games, and inventive outdoor crafts. All the experiences are made to be fun, safe, and memorable! Weekly programs will be adjusted to fit the age of the participants while also trying to incorporate any individual wishes.
In light of the current climate we want to offer families that are staying in the city and probably have one or two working parents, a way to send their kids to camp but at the same time keep the families safe. We have recruited a group of young and healthy teachers and guides that will make sure the camp is a blast while also adhering to the safety and precautions standards to keep us all healthy.
Age & Group Size
The NYC Summer Sports Day Camp is suitable for preschoolers aged 4 to 6 and kids aged 6+ to 9 years.
For each separate week, we are aiming to combine two separate groups depending on the age. There is a min 3 and max 5 preschoolers per week and a min 3 and max 5 older kids during the same week with a 4/1 of children/caregiver ratio.
The location of the camp will change daily, as we move from the ocean and the beach, into the forest and meadows. We will discuss the exact pick-up location in NYC after the booking (we can adjust pick up location to individuals).
We will communicate the exact locations of the day camp a week in advance. Activity spots will be chosen in adherence to the state recommendations.
Below is a sample week that will be adjusted based on weather conditions, kids’ age, and the ability to spend time outside.

The group will be small, max 10 children compared to the standard summer camp group size of 20. Staff is required to check their temperature daily and stay home if showing any symptoms while we require the same for children.
We have carefully studied and will be looking to follow the “field guide” for how summer and day camps can operate more safely during the coronavirus pandemic released by the American Camp Association and the YMCA of the USA. Read the full guide HERE.
Despite the fact that activities included in the camp do not necessarily require tight physical contact, we cannot guarantee that there will be zero contact. However, staff will be intervening to ensure children are practicing sports activities safely and correctly. If your child or anyone in your close family household is in the high-risk group we do not recommend your child to participate in the camp to avoid any unnecessary risk.
